Love Birds

This painting explores the archetype of union and mutual becoming. Two doves rise together, wings extended in quiet synchrony, symbolising partnership, balance, and the invisible bond between separate selves.

Suspended against a softened sky, the figures appear weightless - existing between effort and ease. Their mirrored motion reflects Jungian ideas of the Self as a dynamic relationship between inner forces, where growth is not solitary but relational.

The restrained palette and gentle brushwork emphasise trust, harmony, and emotional attunement. This work was painted as a meditation on shared movement - the understanding that ascension, healing, and transformation are often sustained through connection rather than isolation.

Meaning unfolds softly, inviting the viewer to consider the power of alignment and the grace found in rising together.
