Powerhouse

Powerhouse explores the moment when thought becomes visible - when the mind is recognised as an active force rather than a hidden mechanism. The exposed brain rises from the figure, illuminated and alive, suggesting both vulnerability and immense creative energy.

Set against a charged red field, the painting speaks to intensity, activation, and inner momentum. The separation between body and mind reflects awareness: the ability to observe one’s own thoughts, patterns, and power.

I painted this as a reminder that our greatest strength often operates unseen. This work holds the idea that clarity, creativity, and self-possession emerge when we acknowledge the mind as a source of energy - not something to suppress, but something to understand and direct.

Small in scale but concentrated in meaning, Powerhouse invites close engagement and sustained reflection.
